"Transferred from Italy to Liverpool, where he has been living and working for several years as a tiler. After obtaining a diploma in the tourism sector, he began his work experience in the family construction company, specifically in flooring, reaching an excellent professional level over the years. For over twenty-five years, it has been his main activity. His encounter with art is the natural evolution of his professional maturity and the rediscovery of the ancient mosaic technique in a modern key. For him, the mosaic technique was initially a subject of study and research, before becoming an artistic craft practice. The artist interprets contemporary and non-contemporary reality according to an original and personalised interpretation, creating images of strong visual impact, which find their full expression in his personal mosaic technique. He prefers to use 8x8mm recycled glass tiles, laid one by one, with strong and changing colours. He often uses black for the outlines of his subjects, creating a graffiti effect. The mosaic thus becomes a surface made up of pixels, with a strong reference to pop art and 1980s video games. Each work is unique and constructed from thousands of pieces. His attentive and consistent practice has led him to high standards of precision. The artist from whom he continuously draws inspiration are Warhol, Haring, and Invader".
